KEBC Inclusion Policy
KEBC Inclusion Policy
The Kew East Basketball Club is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive basketball environment that supports children from all abilities and backgrounds and at all levels of the game.
This commitment aligns to KEBC’s “STRIVE” principles of SKILLS; TEAM; RESPECT, IMPROVE; VALUES; ENJOY.
Participation in sport during childhood offers many immediate and long term benefits, including the health that comes from physical activity, development of life-skills, an awareness that achievement comes from work and practice, as well as cognitive and social functioning.
Given this, the Club will not discriminate against any child and will look to maximise the opportunity for children to participate in the sport. Please remember that the Club reserves the right to place children in junior teams where there are seven or less players.
